The Germantown Golf Park is pleased to offer the 2004 Summer Junior Golf Camp schedule.
This is a great way to introduce your child to the game of golf. We all know the value of an early start in any skill, but it is especially true when the junior is developing a proper golf swing. We all know poor habits are hard to break, so starting the game with an appreciation for the fundamentals is essential for girls and boys growing in golf.
Five days of golfing fun in each session awaits your child under the guidance of 25 year PGA teaching professional Mark J. Diley and his staff. Mark is an experienced veteran of the lesson tee, specializing in Junior Golf Camps for the last 12 years. He has taught thousands of youngsters of all ages the proper way to get the new junior golfing body to behave.
In both camp formats, your child will learn proper grip, stance, posture and swing with woods, irons, chipping, pitching, putting and sand technique. Competitions among campers keep them keen to skill development in a fun setting and equipment is provided. Mark relates to youngsters an appreciation for the history , honor and integrity of the game stressing self-reliance and proper behavior on the course. Etiquette and rules are also covered.
